My 2021 MFA exhibition presented a tactile, labour-intensive, multisensory installation that wove multi-dimensionally in space. It was a messy unravelling which showcased my hybrid experimental processes as an attempt to deconstruct and recreate new forms of relating and co-existing in our complex contemporary world.
My hybrid forms transcended reified form and began to perform, play, and respond to the people and environments they encountered. The installation becomes a living work that unleashed agency, flow, and a seeming spirituality. These other-worldly encounters show how the experience of everyday objects of domestication can be decentred in a sensitive manner
